Free users are paused after 1,000 context calls in a month. To avoid blocking you completely, we grant 20 bonus calls each day until the month resets. Upgrade to Pro for uninterrupted access and higher limits.

Pro users are never blocked. Once you pass your included 5,000 context calls per seat, additional usage is billed at $10 per 1,000 calls. You can monitor usage and billing in your dashboard.

Each team member has their own 5,000 context-call allocation. Limits are per seat, not shared — if one member uses 6,000 calls while another uses none, the 1,000 excess is billed and unused allocations don't carry over.

Indexing private or internal documentation is charged at $25 per 1M tokens. This applies when you add a new private source or refresh an existing one. Cached pages served while a refresh runs are free.

EMU is SOC 2 Type II compliant, and we never train models on your queries or personal data. Only the documentation lookup query and library name are sent to EMU — never your code, conversation history, or secrets. Your actual codebase and full prompts stay with your own LLM provider.

EMU screens sources for injection attempts before indexing, assigns trust scores to libraries and organizations, and lets you filter to trusted sources only — so no poisoned docs reach your model.
